About - Athens Ohio Cut Flowers
Our cut flower operation has been growing for 3 years on our seventh-generation family farm. Our flowers are available from late summer through fall, mainly through our flower cart sales and rentals.
We’re now expanding into winter flower production, focusing on ranunculus, anemones, snapdragons, and other cool-season blooms. This lets us offer fresh, locally grown flowers earlier in the year and extend the beauty of Libby’s Flower Farm beyond the summer and fall seasons.
Our Story
For generations, our farm has stood quietly resilient in the rolling hills of Appalachia—weathering the natural seasons of change, hardship, and growth that shape every family enterprise. Through it all, this land has been an anchor for our family as we’ve thoughtfully adapted from dairy and beef cattle to fresh produce and flowers. Today, as a recent college graduate returning to my family’s roots, I’m carrying that legacy forward with a new adventure: experimenting with cultivating premium, farm-fresh flowers almost year-round. By leaning into local resources and innovation, we nurture high-quality blooms even in the depths of winter. Our Vision
Libby's Flower Farm is a small, family-run cut flower farm nestled in the hills of southeast Ohio. Every late summer and fall, our fields and greenhouse burst with vibrant, hand-grown blooms — from bold zinnias and velvety celosia to delicate globe amaranth. We believe flowers should be fresh, local, and grown with love.
